Making art has been a continuous thread through my life and I’ve used it at different times for different reasons but the purpose of it has always been to make life better.
As an occupational therapist I used art as a therapeutic tool for the many benefits it has on physical and mental health, and general wellbeing.
In my personal life, rarely does a day go by without me drawing or painting. I love the freedom of exploring different media, different subject matter and different styles. Over the years my artwork, textiles and calligraphy have been exhibited in galleries in the north of England and Scotland, and are in private collections in the UK and USA.
Ultimately, I make art because it creates light and healing and happiness in my life so it fits perfectly to contribute the proceeds of my artwork sales to the pay-it-forward pool to fund consultations for future clients.
I invite you to browse the gallery and purchase art made for health.
