Here's some info about how to pay-it-forward, including financial gifts, non-financial support and my reasons for working this way.
How to pay-it-forward
My sessions are offered through a gift economy/pay-it-forward model. This model is rooted in mutual respect, trust and care for community.
This means there is no fixed price for sessions. Instead of paying a set fee, you are invited to offer what feels right for you — financially, energetically, and ethically — in recognition of the care, time, and experience you receive.
I trust you to choose an amount that:
Feels honest and sustainable for you
Reflects the value of the session as you experienced it
Supports the continuation of this work for others
Why I work this way
I believe that healing and care should be:
Responsive to an individual's needs and circumstances
Based on relationships rather than transactions
Rooted in compassion and trust
Accessible to all
The pay-it-forward model allows my practice to exist in a way that aligns with my values.
A note on money & access
Your contribution is received in good faith, based on your current circumstances and your honest sense of value. At different times in life, your financial situation can change — that’s expected and respected.
I recognise that choosing an amount might feel uncomfortable, so here is some general advice from the UK's Therapy Directory, "As a very rough guide, you could expect to pay around £1 per minute for the expertise of a qualified, insured professional."
You’re welcome to make your financial gift at a later time, when it feels more possible. My services aren’t dependent on immediate payment.
If money isn’t available, non-financial gifts are also welcome — this might be a skill, a service, a creative offering, writing a testimonial, sharing my services on your socials or referring somebody who might benefit.
Your presence, your trust and your contribution (in whatever form it takes)
are what make this work possible.
